Crestline Hotels & Resorts Announces the Appointment of Jeremy Allen as General Manager for the Hilton Garden Inn Blacksburg, VA |

Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of Jeremy Allen to General Manager for the new Hilton Garden Inn Blacksburg. The 137 guestroom hotel, located near the Virginia Tech campus, is in the final phases of construction and is scheduled to open in late August 2009. |
Mr. Allen joins Crestline with more than 13 years of hospitality industry and management experience. He most recently served as the General Manager for the Hawthorn Suites in Blacksburg, VA. Prior to that, he held the GM position for a Hampton Inn in SC and a Sleep Inn in Asheville, NC. Earlier in his hotel career he held management positions in a Courtyard by Marriott and a Best Western hotel.
"Jeremy's background in hospitality management and operations, coupled with his knowledge of the Blacksburg community, is a tremendous asset for this new hotel," said Dave Durbin, President & CEO, Crestline Hotels & Resorts. "We are confident that his combination of strategic planning, management skills and his commitment to guest service will ensure a successful opening at the new Hilton Garden Inn Blacksburg," added Durbin.
Mr. Allen is active in many civic and industry activities and is past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce (2008), Chairman of the Tourism Development Council (Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Montgomery County), and was recognized with the "Volunteer of the Year" Award 2006 by the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.
