NEW YORK, NY - February 24, 2003 - The Millennium Hotel Agadir,

doors to the public on February 14, 2003. |
A seaside paradise, ideally
situated on a beautiful sandy beach in Baie des Palmiers, the hotel is
the epitome of elegance and is poised to become a destination unto
itself. Taking its cue from the regional architecture and the
characteristics of Morocco, the property has a Kasbah-like exterior.
Inside, its distinctive and welcoming ambience introduces guests to
the impeccable hospitality to follow.
A comprehensive mix of premier services and amenities are geared for
the business and leisure traveler as well as conference, meetings and
incentives markets. Guest facilities include 273 luxurious
accommodations, which display a richness and clarity that is evident
in all aspects of the hotel. The guestrooms are traditionally
furnished and offer a long bath and shower, electronic safe, IDD
telephone and voicemail, computer and facsimile data ports, satellite
TV, remote Internet access via the TV, hair dryer and mini bar.
For those who favor the luxury of a suite, the six Ambassador Suites
and one Royal Suite are located on the Atlantic beachfront. Each is a
privately contained two-bedroom duplex. The Royal Suite features its
own private pool. There are also 18 Junior Suites.
Additional highlights of Millennium Hotel Agadir are dedicated meeting
and event facilities and a diverse range of restaurants and cafes.
The hotel's Business Center features a private office for the use of
guests and provides secretarial support and other services such as
color photocopying and Internet facilities. Banquet and meeting
venues will be operational by the end of March 2003.
Café Kouba is cozy and informal with a menu highlighting a wide range
of International flavors and Moroccan favorites. La Nasse, the
hotel's signature restaurant, presents exquisitely fresh seafood with
an Asian twist. Upcoming gastronomic delights include Pontini, a
relaxed venue where guests will enjoy great ambience and superb
Italian cuisine. There will also be a piano bar, three Karaoke
lounges and a nightclub to enliven the evenings.
The Millennium Hotel Agadir provides guests a variety of sporting and
leisure activities. Complemented by a beach along the Atlantic and a
stunning outdoor swimming pool - a focal point of the hotel's design -
there are also two tennis courts and a Health & Fitness Club. Planned
additions include a gameroom, crèche and several shops.
Swiss born Bruno Simeoni, has been appointed General Manager of the
